Manager's Minute

Happy March All!

We are so close to actual spring here in VT—you can almost taste it! Along with spring comes mud season, but I bet we'll all be happy to see something other than snow after the winter we just had. Spring for us also brings baseball, which is one of our most favorite times of the year. Being outside all of the time, with both of our boys playing for Lyndon Institute this year, and Rory back coaching, it's bound to be a fun spring. If you find yourself with some free time, check out the LI baseball schedule and come check out a game. You're certain to hear me cheering somewhere on the sidelines and most likely doing the book!

If you live on a back road or travel along them throughout March or April and start to feel a shake, you may have some mud-caked tires. Call us to make an appointment to put it up on the lift to be sure. We're happy to clean the wheels out for you and make sure the shake isn't coming from anywhere else. Many times you'll feel the tell-tale mud shake at higher speeds. And while your vehicle is here for a mud clean out, we'll do our comprehensive digital vehicle check that comes with a full color report! This digital vehicle inspection report is complimentary. If we find anything else that needs to be address, our service advisors will reach out with a full quote and time frame to get those fixed for you in a timely fashion. Make sure you save us as a contact in your phones when the text of the report gets sent out. That way we won't end up in spam, and you can get a good look at how your vehicle is doing. We're also happy to email these reports out!

We hope to see you out and about enjoying some beautiful weather and wish you all the best!

Can you believe we made it to Spring?? I don't know if I've ever been happier to see mud season, ruts and all! We are also excited to get baseball rolling, if you need us we'll be at the shop or at a local baseball field soaking it all in. Go Vikes!! Last month the shop had an exciting new arrival.....our Technician Tony had a beautiful baby boy, welcome to the family kiddo! Be sure to congratulate him the next time you come to the shop and see him. This warmer weather ushers in Vermont's mud season and we're destined to have a good one with all of the snow melt that's happening. If you find yourself on the highway with a very shaky car odds are good your wheels are caked in mud. Call us to schedule an appointment for us to confirm that's the issue and address any others that the ruts and potholes may be causing. Going to a car wash is not sufficient and many times can cake the mud in further, not to mention if we have freezing temps that night it can then turn what was just mud into cement. We're happy to put it up on the lift and clean it all out for you so you can head on down the road shake free! It'll also be a great time to switch over to your summer tires. Be sure to call soon though, we'll be filling up quickly! We hope you are reading this with sun shining down on you and in a very comfortable temp my friend, if not, head outside when you're done reading this and get some fresh VT air. Happy Spring!! All the Best, Rory & Sarah
