December Manager's Minute

December 11, 2025

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Can you believe we're already at the end of 2025? What a year this has been, definitely a very wild ride! This year has been full of ups and downs for us, thankfully the frequency of ups was much higher, and we were once again reminded of the support we are surrounded by when going through it all. We've learned a lot from the downs, grew quite a bit, and came out on the other side even stronger than before.

This year saw our boys hitting some big milestones: our oldest getting his license and our youngest getting his driving permit (two drivers at once!), also trying out new sports and navigating high school in general. It is an absolute honor to watch our wonderful boys grow, bittersweet at times because they aren't our tiny little babies anymore and really enjoying hanging out with our teens who have turned out to be some of the funniest people we know.

We purchased a brand-new home this year and completed our journey with the FEMA flood buyout with our previous one. This entire process was long, arduous, bittersweet, and taught us many life lessons. Our old home was where our boys spent most of their childhood filled with so much love and so many memories, we will miss it dearly. But, we are also incredibly happy with our new home and ready to begin our next chapter there as a family. What a wild ride this whole thing was and what a cool thing to celebrate it all with our first Christmas in our beautiful new place!

The shop has had so much growth this year! We have expanded on the services we offer, including some high-quality BG services that are worth every bit of investment! Our team has really shown up for each other time and time again, continuing to provide top-notch service. We are so excited to see where 2026 takes us!

So, as we turn the page on this last chapter of 2025, we wish you all the best start to the new year and hope it is filled with everything you need it to be!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Can you believe we made it to Spring?? I don't know if I've ever been happier to see mud season, ruts and all! We are also excited to get baseball rolling, if you need us we'll be at the shop or at a local baseball field soaking it all in. Go Vikes!! Last month the shop had an exciting new arrival.....our Technician Tony had a beautiful baby boy, welcome to the family kiddo! Be sure to congratulate him the next time you come to the shop and see him. This warmer weather ushers in Vermont's mud season and we're destined to have a good one with all of the snow melt that's happening. If you find yourself on the highway with a very shaky car odds are good your wheels are caked in mud. Call us to schedule an appointment for us to confirm that's the issue and address any others that the ruts and potholes may be causing. Going to a car wash is not sufficient and many times can cake the mud in further, not to mention if we have freezing temps that night it can then turn what was just mud into cement. We're happy to put it up on the lift and clean it all out for you so you can head on down the road shake free! It'll also be a great time to switch over to your summer tires. Be sure to call soon though, we'll be filling up quickly! We hope you are reading this with sun shining down on you and in a very comfortable temp my friend, if not, head outside when you're done reading this and get some fresh VT air. Happy Spring!! All the Best, Rory & Sarah
