August 2025 Manager's Minute

August 19, 2025

Happy Summer!

We've managed to see some actual sun here in VT, it's amazing what a little vitamin D can do to morale. We hope you've been able to soak up every bit of it you possibly could!

We've been enjoying some extra family time these past few weeks, not revolving around any kind of sport, and it's been absolutely rejuvenating. Rory's been getting some good fishing hours in on his boat throughout the NEK, the boys have been enjoying sleeping in and getting some solid vegging time with buddies, and I've been devouring some really awesome books inside and outside on the front porch swing.

The shop has been nice & busy, if you've gone by you'll see those bay doors open with our guys working hard all day long. We've served a lot of people in the last few weeks and gotten many cars ready for road trips and hot weather. All that hard work was rewarded with a 4-Day holiday weekend where we all got to celebrate Independence Day with loved ones. And there was actual good weather to boot!

With the holiday this month, we want to take a moment to thank of all of those in service, who have served in the past, and their families. We are eternally grateful for your commitment and sacrifices. Please know how thankful we are and how much you are all loved.

We hope next month's letter finds you reading it on a beautiful sunny, not too humid day, hopefully from a beach somewhere.

All the Best,

Rory & Sarah

We have finally made it to summer! It's real, it does exist! I think we've really earned this one my friends, between the winter that never ended and the absolutely frigid Spring. I hope we have what feels like endless days of sunshine ahead.

Can you believe we made it to Spring?? I don't know if I've ever been happier to see mud season, ruts and all! We are also excited to get baseball rolling, if you need us we'll be at the shop or at a local baseball field soaking it all in. Go Vikes!! Last month the shop had an exciting new arrival.....our Technician Tony had a beautiful baby boy, welcome to the family kiddo! Be sure to congratulate him the next time you come to the shop and see him. This warmer weather ushers in Vermont's mud season and we're destined to have a good one with all of the snow melt that's happening. If you find yourself on the highway with a very shaky car odds are good your wheels are caked in mud. Call us to schedule an appointment for us to confirm that's the issue and address any others that the ruts and potholes may be causing. Going to a car wash is not sufficient and many times can cake the mud in further, not to mention if we have freezing temps that night it can then turn what was just mud into cement. We're happy to put it up on the lift and clean it all out for you so you can head on down the road shake free! It'll also be a great time to switch over to your summer tires. Be sure to call soon though, we'll be filling up quickly! We hope you are reading this with sun shining down on you and in a very comfortable temp my friend, if not, head outside when you're done reading this and get some fresh VT air. Happy Spring!! All the Best, Rory & Sarah
